  2. Okay Gregamortis, like GPR above, you asked for it, so here it is.

Eli Roth has been honing his craft for a couple of decades, but his work in 2018 with Death Wish and The House With A Clock In Its Walls shows us well-made, polished films. He is a director to watch for sure. His latest project in producing Haunt, really impresses me. Haunt is a very good movie that surprised me in it's ability to subvert expectations.

I appreciate the shout out as well. I really give Rob credit for getting Sid Haig in 3 From Hell. He wrote a great scene for Sid and he did a really good job knowing that it would be his last performance. It's really cool because it really feels like Sid got to go out on his own terms, being in the film and giving a nice lasting impression with that performance. I never thought I would say thank you Rob Zombie, but there it is.

Richard Brake was the MVP. The film doesn't work without him. How great was Dee Wallace? She was my favorite part of the second act. Regardless of the ending, it was still a fun experience seeing it and I am glad I got to go.

So we get The Joker from Todd Phillips this weekend. Robert Eggers' The Lighthouse arrives on the 18th. This is the next horror film I am most excited for. Yes, plenty of horror still to come, especially this month.

What Jason Blum has been able to do is impressive to say the least. My favorites include: Insidious 1 & 2, Sinister, Whiplash, The Visit, Split, The Resurrection Of Gavin Stone, Upgrade, Halloween and Glass.
Looking forward to The Invisible Man.

For Dave Becker, I'll be praying for a successful procedure and a full and quick recovery. Thank you Dr. Shock for your great work as a film reviewer and podcaster. You bring incredible value to both LOTC and HMP.

Congratulations to Greg and Pearl on your upcoming day of celebration. That is very cool news to share for sure.

    Keep up the great work!

  3. Sean so glad you and GPR have came over here. I did not get a chance to see Death Wish yet but I totally agree The House With A Clock In The Wall is a shining gem in his catalog. He has matured in his film making for sure. Haunt was so fun and actually creepy at points and I will definitely own it when it comes out. Loved it.
I agree, after knowing the fact that Sid was not going to be here much longer it was such a great opportunity for Rob to allow Him to go out on top. Such an amazing actor and his legacy will live on forever. And yes, Dee Wallace was spectacular. Her character allowed Baby to shine. So great.
I am so excited for the horror films yet to come . Going to be a great year for horror.
I am stoked to talk Jason Blum and Blumhouse films for sure. Some outstanding films in the catalog for sure. Stay tuned for that show.
Thank You for the best wishes for Dave, he is recovering for sure. He will be back soon.
Thank You so much for commenting and listening. And from Pearl and I, Thank You. We are so excited for our next journey.
