Excellent topic, guys, looking forward to listening, but it looks like you missed the most important and relevant one. I listened to Land of the Creeps ep. 119 recently; thanks so much for that great episode.
ReplyDeleteI apologize again for spamming your comments section with repetitive posts. I guess I was just being impatient. Sorry about that.
Hey Kaiju, which one did we miss as I know we probably missed many lol and really wanting to revisit this topic again in the future
DeleteLand of the Creeps,
DeleteYou guys missed 'Nosferatu' (1922) & 'Nosferatu the Vampire' (1979).
It is the centennial anniversary of 'Nosferartu', Land of the Creeps, an incredibly important date in horror history. I'm feeling so sad watching everyone dropping the ball here. It's sad and pathetic, Land of the Creeps.
Gregamortis, have you heard the new Megadeth single? It's so f---ing sweet!!!!
DeleteMustaine has a real talent for making these amazing riffs.
ReplyDeleteGregamortis, reposting my comment here.
Here we are at maybe the most important horror anniversary of all time and all the horror podcasts are going, like, “Yawn. . . .What’s going on, guys, ever heard of this guy called Dracula? Nosferatu?”
“Nope, never heard of him, please more violence, please more violence and gore–Yawn”
I feel so ashamed, Gregamortis! It’s shameful!!!!
We will have to do an anniversary vampire episode really really soon!!
DeleteOne hundred years of vampire films, Land of the Creeps! A full century of Dracula! If that's not an anniversary then I don't know what an anniversary is!! You all are dropping the ball, Gregamortis!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you bringing this up as I don't like dropping balls lol but this will allow us to move that subject up a little sooner in the lineup so stay tuned.
DeleteFor 2022 horror news, the Nosferatu 100th anniversary is absolutely the story of the year, and all of my horror podcasts have just fumbled the ball, so shameful, can't believe it.
ReplyDelete125 years since the novel by Bram Stoker! 100 years since 'Nosferatu' by F. W. Murnau. It's absolutely time for an anniversary vampire episode! One full century of Dracula films!! So f---ing awesome!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is already planned on a future episode so stay tuned.
DeleteGregamortis, I was just searching the 'Land of the Creeps' catalogue for 'The Birds' (Hitchcock) review. I didn't find it. What the f***????
ReplyDeleteEpisode 200 we did an Alfred Hitchcock dedication episode and Birds was definitely discussed there.
